A two-day event for the launch of Raya Beer factory in Mayetcheou (Ethiopia) and the Economic Symposium in Mekele (Ethiopia). Attendees including the President of Ethiopia and several state ministers and over 1,000 participants. We were in charge of program management, set up for the venue, branding, registration and onsite management.

Designed and created a space fit for world economic leaders in attendance of the World Economic Forum on Africa 2012. Creatively presented Ethiopia in one space displaying its rich culture, economic opportunities, and colourful traditions. The setup gained praises from all in attendance.
Organised the launch of Ethiopia’s Entrepreneurship Development Programme at the office of the Prime Minister of Ethiopia and subsequently organised the launch of the Programme’s office. Launch of the Ambassador for Entrepreneurship; Gala event for the award of the Entrepreneurship Award

Flawless managed the inauguration of three national industrial parks across Ethiopia - in Kombolcha, Mekele and Hawassa, with more planned in the near future. These industrial parks mark a monumental shift of Ethiopia’s economic priorities from agriculture to manufacturing. Each park houses facilities for textile, apparel and food processing, aiming to create 20,000 jobs per park. The guests in attendance included Heads of State, diplomats & international business leaders. Flawless was responsible for complete event management services, including invitation letters, VIP protocol, event design and on-site management.
INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCES & BUSINESS MEETINGS
Annual meeting of the Africa Transport Program (SSATP). A two day event with 100 participants. Venue management, visa support, identifying and managing vendors and on site staff management was provided.
Largest international event in Ethiopia with over 7,000 local and international delegates. Partnered with Courtesy Associates to provide strategic advise and management on housing, transport, vendor identification, and on site management.

More than 1,600 traders, producers, specialists from the international coffee industry convened in Ethiopia for the International Coffee Organization’s fourth global conference. Flawless provided the following services: visa processing, logistics, excursion planning, exhibition design and management.
Conferences, side events and press conferences dealing with food security and agriculture in Africa. A four day event with over 1,000 participants, over 50 VIPs and several Head of States. Mr Koffi Annan (Koffi Annan Foundation), Mrs Jane Karuku (President of AGRA), former President of Ghana Hon. John Kufuor and 2014 YARA Price Laureate Professor Tekalign Mamo Assefa were amongst the VIPs. Organized the National Committee for the event with the Ministry of Agriculture, AGRF and the African Union. Management of airport arrival for participants and VIPs and, visas demands and assist local authorities throughout the event. Organize lodging, catering (for events and side events), entertainment, transportation and registration for all participants. Provide and manage on site staff, information for delegates, exhibition set up and closely follow up on logistics with AU staff and for services provided to VIPs. Follow up, on site and off site, with AGRF on updates and execute accordingly.
“Ethiopia: The Source of Premium Duty Free Footwear Manufacturing” provided a platform to encourage footwear importers and retailers in the US to source shoes made in Ethiopia. It was organized by Made By Ethiopia and Footwear Distributors and Retailers of America (FDRA).
TRADE SHOWS & EXHIBITIONS
The first Ethiopian-Arab expo and conference. Exhibitors from Arab countries and various African countries. A one-day conference followed by three days of exhibition open for the business community and the public. Conference coordination, exhibit sales, setup, onsite staff, execution.
The international Association of Operative Millers (IAOM) Mideast and Africa (MEA) Conference and Exhibition drew 500 participants from 46 countries for to share knowledge on market and technical information. Besides panels, there were one-on-one B2B meetings and an exhibition featured 92 exhibitors. Flawless supported the organizers on custom stand building, staff for registration and running the expo floor, support in custom clearance, local promotion and liaison with the government and local entrepreneurs.
